Hello. I'm Robyn, If you are here, there's a good chance that you have been trying your best to navigate challenges that feel like too much. You may be feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, or out of sync with the life you want to live. You may be going through a life transition, have become more aware of past or present traumas impacting you now, or have faced a recent difficult experience, and are ready to begin your healing journey. I help empower teens and adults to overcome past adverse and traumatic experiences to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. Adversity and trauma may have led you to experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, low self-esteem, or relationship challenges, that negatively impact your daily life. But these symptoms do not define you. Rather they speak to the hardships and challenges you have faced. Allow me to offer you a safe space to process your story and learn new skills to begin your healing journey, release shame, build self-compassion, and live authentically YOU. I look forward to working together.

Change at any stage in life can cause a whirlwind of emotions—such as excitement, joy, relief and hope; but also worry, fear, concern and uncertainty. The change can be a new job, a new school, a new relationship, a new city, a new identity or a new experience. Therapy is a place that can help you navigate these changes—including the unanticipated stressors, challenges and adversities that you may experience along the way. Therapy is an opportunity that will empower you and mobilize you to reach your goals, dreams and aspirations; and lead you on a path towards a purposeful and meaningful life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I provide services in English or Spanish. My goal is to help you identify your strengths, goals and abilities—and teach you the skills that you need to adjust to the unforeseeable circumstances that life may bring to you. For the last 6 years, I have served multicultural and diverse populations, of all ages, in a variety of settings—including K-12 institutions, forensic mental health, integrated health, inpatient psychiatric care and hospital emergency care. My leadership style is deeply rooted on that values and ethics of the social work practice; and I intend to provide you with a safe, supportive, welcoming and nurturing environment.

Hello, You may have often heard some people say that therapy is for only those with a mental illness or are "crazy". I'm Mark G. Koch and have been a licensed Marriage Family Therapist since 1996, and I can honestly tell you that those type of statements are a myth. Everyone has a view of how the world works and we use the tools we have to deal with our issues, but occasionally there comes a time when a problem arises that we have no answer to. At this point we become "stuck". You can say that these are the cards life has dealt you and do nothing, or you can get help to learn new ways to see your world and use new tools to change your world. You have the strength and you have the power and somewhere in your mind, you have the answers. My job is to help you find them and to show you how to use them, so that you can begin to move towards whatever your goals are for your world. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including private practice, psychiatric hospitals, County Mental Health, non-profit organizations and most recently utilizing remote virtual therapy. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. My expertise in is Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and other Anxiety Disorders along with Depression, but I also have had a multitude of experience with Personality Disorders, Bi-Polar Disorders, and with dual diagnosis. A dual diagnosis is when a person has a mental health issue such as depression, and is also dealing with a drug/alcohol issue. Having said all of this, I actually have had a great amount of success dealing with adolescents, those having relationship issues, and communication between couples. I look forward to hearing from you.

I've worked in several realms of healing and medicine for more than 10 years, and I approach my therapeutic connections with warmth and curiosity. I lovingly encourage you to come as you are. Do you wish someone understood your pain from trauma, whether it was something in the recent past or from long ago? I just might be the therapist you're looking for. I am a therapist specializing in working with those who’ve experienced trauma all along the trauma spectrum, which includes everything from PTSD to Dissociative Disorders. I am also a specialist in treating those struggling with substance use disorders. Sometimes we do both of these at the same time and occasionally throw a few other things in the mix as well. I am one to just roll with whatever you bring to the table. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and also utilize other forms of treatment to help my clients meet their goals in treatment. When people see me, I consider it a partnership, and we work together to figure out what is going to be most helpful for you. I do not do one-size-fits-all therapy. Some common types of therapy I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, Strengths-based Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor in the states of California and Indiana. I also teach EMDR to other therapists seeking Certification in that specialty.

Hi there, I’m Manny. Are you currently searching for a sense of meaning and purpose in your life? Do you find yourself in an existential/spiritual emergency? Are you exploring your personal identity, expression, or sexuality? I help people of all ages increase self-awareness and decrease symptomology by bringing unconscious material into conscious awareness. Trauma combined with an emotional core (experiences of intense fear/guilt/shame) commonly splinters parts of our personality and represses such into the shadow/unconscious realms of our psyche. In response, many of us have adapted and survived by putting on masks in hopes of fitting in and being accepted by the people around us. Mental health concerns eventually arise because deep in our mind/body/soul we yearn for authenticity/individuation. Clients may also experience suicide ideation and/or self-harm because there are parts of themselves that no longer serve them. Together we can explore which aspects of ourselves to let go, in order to make space for something new to enter. I am a Doctoral Candidate from Pacifica Graduate Institute, my studies focused on Depth Psychology with a specialization in Integrative Therapy and Healing Practices. As a Holistic practitioner, I believe that each individual already possesses what is needed for their healing and it is my duty, as a guiding witness, to help the client navigate, process, and integrate such.

I am a highly experienced practitioner with 45 years of clinical experience, willing to work with more complex cases. I have a calm demeanor (California beach style) but communicate directly, with transparency and tact. Yes, the picture of me is current, taken on a windy day at the beach in the summer of 2023. My goal is to assist you in developing the skills and insights to approach a vast array of situations., with the best possible outcomes. I seek to provide the means to manage immediate issues, but also techniques to become more independent in facing the inevitable future challenges of life. I have a tool kit of therapeutic approaches to find what best works for you, but also have extensive experience administering large behavioral health programs, where I can support the challenges of dealing with complex systems. I can listen attentively, educate you, and at times, assist you in accessing supportive resources, you may not have known are available or that you qualify for, to develop a holistic and comprehensive plan for continued wellness. I have accepted very complex cases, but stay within my areas of competency. These do not include primary chemical dependency treatment, LGBTQI+ issues, or eating disorders. I do not work with PC 290 registrants, those in court ordered treatment, workmen's compensation cases, or any others involving the legal system. I only do individual therapy. No couples or groups. I do not write letters for disability claims, emotional support animals, or to employers. Honesty, integrity, insight, awareness, knowledge, relief and resolutions are what you'll get with me. I believe the theraputic process is organic and our sessions will unfold overtime, focusing on getting you to a place where you can think clearly, understand yourself better and feel solid. I am an out of the box thinker and doer with full acceptance for all lifes wonders. Differences are appealing and I welcome them with open arms, encouraging you to be your absolute self %100 of the time. If you need a jump start, help figuring out what makes you tick, what makes you happy, what your authentic self needs to thrive, I'd love to work with you. Life throws curve balls that can be annoying, frustrating, shocking at times. I get it because I've been there. It's ok and healthy to ask for help. My specialties include insight oriented talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused and strategic therapy. My history is working with adults who have depression and anxiety, relationship distress, anger management issues, trauma histories, existential crisis and have co-occurring disorders which require medication treatment. I work with couples who seek help communicating and bringing the love back into their relationship. I provide psycho-education and real life solutions to problems that seem unsolvable at face value, but with that one tweak, you find out they were solvable all along. I fully believe in the connection between body and mind and weave differing modalities into therapy in order to address each component of healing and wellness. Often we don't realize that just one simple tweak can launch you into the lifetime you want. Are you struggling with personal challenges affecting your relationships, work, social life and, most importantly, yourself. Do you miss that hope, that loving feeling for your partner or your kids? Complex, yet common, issues around love, family, purpose in life, and doing what truly makes you happy, have become overwhelming and you’re ready to do something different. Are you feeling underwhelmed? You may have recently undergone a loss, job change, life change, a psychiatric or medical emergency, and are feeling completely stuck. I believe your truth is in you, and my role of therapist is to provide emotional support, insight, and to help you navigate through past and present so you can have the future you deserve.

My approach is solution focused. I am not primarily concerned with how or why your present challenge developed but will focus instead on helping you to find a way forward. I hope to elicit and reinforce your positive attributes and competencies and help you to access your inner strength. Your ability to change or improve your situation depends on your desire to do so and my job is to awaken that desire within you. The biggest challenge all of us face is negative thinking. This is a reflection of our own disappointment of what we see when we look inside ourselves. By improving our self-image through accentuating our positive qualities we begin to see the world in a more positive light. A sure way of feeling better about ourselves is to find something good in every other human being.

Hi there, I’m Dr. Mills! I am a Licensed Psychologist based in Southern California. I’ve been practicing since 2010 and currently work with clients statewide via telehealth. My academic training includes a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University, an MS in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University, an MA in Counseling - Marriage & Family Therapy from National University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. I have worked with all ages and a wide breadth of challenges and/or concerns, from situational stressors to severe mental illness. My journey to becoming a therapist I decided to become a therapist after coaching for over 20 years. At least in my experience of working with athletes, I felt there was a large overlap between physicality and mentality. I originally thought my pathway was sports psychology, but through happenstance found my passion in forensics, serving the underserved. Due to a shift in personal priorities, I resigned from the forensic realm in pursuit of private practice in order to reclaim time to spend with my husband and little one.

**ACCEPTING ADULTS (18+) ONLY** Hi, I'm Yang. And I'm here to help you heal from self-abandonment and emotional dysregulation. Self-abandonment occurs when we struggle to stand up for our needs and live by our authentic values; often, we don't even know what they are. Those who struggle with self-abandonment don't feel like they know who they really are, and what they want, and often feel directionless and ungrounded. We feel small, afraid, anxious, aggressive and dependent on others. Emotional dysregulation occurs when we don't understand our emotions and how to manage them. They control us, instead of the other way around. We behave in ways we wish we didn't, and we build up shame around those behaviors as if they are who we are. We cannot separate our emotions from who we are. These issues often lie at the heart of different mental health struggles, such as depression, anxiety, as well as many relationship challenges. The good news is that resolving these, therefore, can potentially lead to ripple effects of change in your life.
