Adolescents present with a confluence of issues involving, development, maturation, behavioral and emotions. For example, oppositional defiance, more serious conduct disorders, verbal and physical aggressive tendencies, risk taking behaviors, school problems, confrontations with parent (s), regarding independence, depression, anxiety, unrestricted free access to the internet, distancing behaviors toward adults and family expressing distain and rejecting family values in an attempt to "find themselves". Addiction issues will require a referral to a specialist.
