My name is Brytni Johnson. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) born and raised in Texas (always in and around "DFW”). I have been working with people: moms and dads; sons and daughters; brothers and sisters; even grandparents for as long as I can remember. I realized just over 12 years ago, I wanted to "help people." I wanted to become educated and trained; learn how to better explore and accentuate my natural skills, while also being able to understand and develop new skills to best assist my clients.
In 2012, I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work. In 2016, I graduated with my Master of Social Work. Shortly after graduating, I obtained my LMSW licensure, and have been practicing in a licensed, professional environment for the past 6 years. After obtaining my license, it was then, my "toolbelt" (yes, toolbelt) gained its first tool. From there, I began working towards building my clinical knowledge in order to obtain my clinical license as a social worker. I obtained my LCSW licensure June 2022; shortly after completing over 3,000 clock hours and over 100 clinical supervision hours.
Right now, I am in the process of obtaining my certification for specialization in Autism and Eating Disorders just to name a couple.

Are you ready to make a change?
I'm Cheri Counterman, LCSW. I've been working as a therapist and medical social worker for over a decade. I've worked with clients who have had a wide range of concerns like depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, trauma, and many more. Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind. Our attitudes and beliefs may come from our childhood, our experiences and maybe what we have learned from others. After working in many areas of mental health, I have gained experience in assisting people in figuring out where thoughts and feelings may be coming from and the best methods to improve them. Everyone finds that their overall mental health improves and they create a better version of themselves.
I have been married for 14 years and have three young kids. I attended Ball State University for my undergraduate work and Howard University for my graduate degree. My work experience has been in community mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, schools and private practice.
We all go through difficult times during life. Anxiety, depression, grief/loss are just a few reasons why people look to therapy for support. No matter what your reasons are, I want you to know that it matters, YOU matter.

Do you often feel overwhelmed with life? Or do you feel that something from your past is keeping you stuck? I can help with anxiety, depression, past trauma, negative self talk, relationship issues and more. I have found great success with walking along side the people I work with to help them move from where they are to where they want to be…wherever that might be! I’m nonjudgmental and accepting of all walks of life- LGBTQIA+ individuals are welcome.
I didn’t get into therapy to “fix” people, I use my practice to guide and help find new ways of doing or looking at things. I love being able to track the progress my clients make when they utilize the skills we’ve talked about in session. I use a mix of Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for most cases. For those suffering from PTSD, I use my Certified Clinical Trauma Professional training which includes somatic (body) work along with narrative work, all of which is grounded in the neuroscience of trauma. I’m not overly concerned with labels and diagnoses, I’m just here to help you make changes to function and feel better day to day.
If you think my approach sounds like it would help you, please reach out and we can schedule our first session to determine if we’ll be a good fit to work together moving forward. I genuinely can’t wait to meet you.

Hey there. I'm Dennis aka Denny Bartsch. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the field for over 15 years. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and Strength Based techniques in my practice. I'm a goofy social worker who likes to use a non-confrontational approach to working with my clients. I do believe that you know your story/life better than I ever will so I believe in what you have to say.
One thing that makes me pretty different from other service providers is that I saw a need for session times available for clients later in the day and evening so I decided to have my scheduled be from Monday through Friday's from 12:30pm EST to 9pm EST. I hope to accommodate more people this way.
I like to use humor and positive support for my client's as we go on this journey together to helping you achieve the goals we identify in session together. My goal is to work towards you having the skills, support, and confidence you need to be successful. I like to think outside of the box when I work with my client's so you just wait and see! Therapy doesn't need to be scary. Let's work together and maybe laugh through some of it. We got this! Together!

I believe counseling can be a lot of different things. Sometimes it's about keeping someone company while they're going through a hard time. Sometimes it's processing events from the past or maybe dealing with events that are happening right now. It can also be learning a new skill or different ways to cope. Together, we can decide what you need and work at your pace to address what you feel is the most important.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor in Indiana. I have been in the counseling field for 25 years. I've worked in private practice throughout that time, but have also worked in the criminal justice and community mental health settings.
I work primarily with adults using cognitive therapy to help them think about struggles in their life from a different perspective. I love seeing people take back some of the power they feel they've lost to anxiety or helping them see the light at the end of the tunnel in depression or addiction. Taking the first step is one of the hardest, but things can feel better for you.

Hi there, I'm Catherine.
Are you suffering from a broken heart? Did a divorce, or the end of a romantic relationship cause it? Or have you experienced a chronic illness, pet loss, death due to suicide, homicide or overdose? Grief is a person’s response to loss, entailing emotions, thoughts and behaviors as well as physiological changes. Grief is permanent after we lose someone close though it’s manifestations are variable both within and between people. We focus on promoting healing milestones and addressing stuck points in adapting to loss using active listening and personalized interventions with specific tools to help you cope with the loss.
My approach to therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in which clients are taught to recognize how their thoughts are contributing to their distress, and through cognitive and behavioral approaches, are challenged to apply coping skills in situations where they are exposed to stress. Generally, some disruption within your personal system, such as an illness, loss, or death, brings you to therapy. Examining the relationships that are in your everyday life—friends, family, and communities—help determine where you would like to focus to give you better coping skills.
It is my hope that you will allow me the opportunity to walk with you through your grief and or traumatic loss. I am here as a guide to help you navigate and teach you how to cope with the loss with supportive guidance every step of the way. I look forward to walking with you through this journey of healing from loss.

My passion is helping clients discover skills to manage anxiety, challenge thought traps, question negative thinking patterns, explore self-identity, and reduce depressive states through processing emotions, learning mindfulness, and implementing healthy coping skills. If feeling frustrated in the past/present/future worries, we can explore EMDR together to allow the brain to heal naturally. We can create goals, big or small, to uncover strengths and reduce feelings of being stuck. I also like to bring breathwork, grounding techniques, and tapping into sessions to build a sense of calm and create peace.
I am certified in Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Yoga. I use an empathetic strength-based approach with foundations in CBT, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing. I can assist in learning how to express emotions, communicate, practice self-acceptance, and learn to make changes to promote a sense of clarity and ease.

Hello, I'm Melissa.
Are you looking for a therapist who understands the challenges of raising a family in today's fast paced and stressful world? Do you find it difficult to feel comfortable talking to others about your real feelings because you don't want to be that vulnerable to anyone else?
I help individuals struggling with life balance and stress management. I have experience providing individual therapy to clients struggling with current life stressors due to past traumas. These past traumas can hold one back from moving forward in life and finding happiness.
I have experience working with diverse client populations. I have worked with children and adolescents in the Dept. of Child Services system, provided behavior support to individuals with developmental disabilities and have worked inpatient with children with dual diagnoses. I am also a single mother of two amazing children and understand on a personal level the stress of raising children, managing the house and maintaining a career.
I enjoy listening to others and helping them find the strengths they did not know they had. Life can be tough at times but having someone to talk through problems with can make the difficult times easier.

Adults and teenagers sometimes struggle to express their thoughts and feelings in healthy, appropriate ways. Many times, children often do not know how to talk about thoughts and feelings. I provide a safe environment and build trusting relationships so that skills can be taught to help alleviate symptoms of stress, anxiety and trauma. The goal is for the child, teen or adult to use the skills that are taught to alleviate pain, promote healing and have different strategies at “their fingertips” as they encounter unpleasant, difficult emotions and situations.
I bring skills and strategies to the counseling process to promote positive outcomes, and positive feelings and thoughts for children, teens, young adults and adults.
You may be trying to overcome anxiety, anger, ADHD symptoms and poor behavioral choices. You may want to work on socialization and relationship skills. I am here to guide you through the process.
My experience includes working in k-12 school settings, at a university, and in behavioral health centers. Through my work, I learned the importance of mutual respect, trust, kindness and building positive rapport.
Taking the first step toward therapy can be very difficult. I want to provide you with an open, trusting, caring space for you to learn, heal and grow. Let's work together!
