Do you feel overwhelmed or like the weight of the world is on your shoulders? Working with me, I can help you overcome the struggles making you feel overwhelmed. Seeking therapy can be a bit scary but rest assured you are making the right decision. I am here to be a source of support and provide a safe space for you to explore the areas in which you struggle. I will remain compassionate and use evidence-based techniques to help you through your journey. Here's a little about me and my experience working with others. I've been a social worker since 2002 and I have had the opportunity to work in many settings with diverse populations which include child welfare, mental health, behavioral health, school social work, medical social work, adult/juvenile justice systems, and managed care. I'm experienced in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, adjustment disorders, behavioral/anger issues, child welfare issues, and interpersonal difficulties. As Caribbean-American woman, I certainly understand the cultural aspects of mental illness and how it can be scary to seek mental health treatment. However, I encourage you to take the first step to focusing on your overall well-being and I'll be there with you every step of the way! Let's work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions, then delve into the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me create a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in subsequent sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are being able to develop a strong clinical relationship and rapport with my clients quickly which allows for my clients to feel comfortable and empowered to reach their treatment goals.
