Hi, my name is Renée and I have over 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health. Do you feel you are in need of help with everyday relationship skills and/or emotional issues. Relationships are the heart of life, and I am passionate about the skill of connecting with each other in order to learn not only about our relationships but to truly understand our own minds as well. Relationships are what tie us together and what motivate us to move forward in life. I am here to help you build positive relationships with not only the ones around you but with the one you have with yourself. My goal in sessions is to help guide my clients to achieve their goals through a psychodynamic lens and really tap into what has caused these unhealthy/maladaptive coping mechanisms.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to learn a lot about their own idiosyncrasies and childhood backgrounds. We are all a product of our own experiences. The first few sessions with be to learn the most about yourself to truly understand your why and we will utilize this in our future sessions to develop healthy relationship/coping skills.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my ability to provide psychoeducation around theory bases and help clients understand themselves in order to move forward in a positive way. I have over 10 years working with clients from ages 3 to 93. My passion is around relationships and how they guide our lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Theory in therapy to help a client with cognitive restructuring. This theory in session is utilized to help individuals see how their thoughts, behaviors and emotions are all connected. CBT can help individuals identify their maladaptive thoughts and behaviors to then ultimately help them manage emotions.

Psychodynamic

I utilize Psychodynamic theory in my sessions to help clients understand their idiosyncrasies. This theory dives into the "why" around what is going on with your thoughts and feelings. This will be utilized to help clients connect past experiences with current maladaptive thoughts and behaviors.

Strength-Based

I utilized strength-based interventions to help clients focus on their positive thought patterns and internal strengths to help guide them toward self-actualization.
