Hola! If you are reading this you have stepped out of your comfort zone and are exploring who you can trust with your innermost thoughts and feelings. As a mental health professional, I have seen first-hand the plight of the human condition. Throughout the past 20+ years, I have gained incredible experience and insight that have uniquely prepared me for this work. As a licensed clinical social worker I have served diverse populations well, throughout the New York Tri-State area as well as in Florida's Southwest and Central areas since 2013 in various capacities. I am passionate about this work. My own curative journey has led me to explore a whole-person approach: mind, body, and soul. There is no "magic pill," or quick fixes when it comes to harnessing sustainable mental wellness. It has been my personal experience that this process can lead to deep restoration from the layers of adversity. Each layer will reveal itself in its own time. This is why therapy will look different for everyone at different stages of life. I would be honored to support you in exploring what hurts, frustrates, confuses, and a host of other emotions that come up when revisiting difficult childhood experiences, losses, grievances, life transitions, and postpartum. Mental wellness care is such a vital component of our whole well-being. I encourage you to start exactly where you are today. Your ability to grow from this hinges upon your views and beliefs about yourself and the world around you. What we cannot see, we do not truly know. Equally true is the reverse. What we can see, we truly know. What we truly know guides our beliefs. Our beliefs conduct our thoughts, behavior, and emotions. As a trauma-informed and trauma-responsive professional, I will hold a non-judgmental space, where you will be patiently supported and spurred on along your own therapeutic journey. You will be provided with a safe place where you can explore your thoughts and emotions to manifest a shift in your perspective developing the clarity, growth, peace, and healing you so desire. SPECIALTIES Trauma/Adverse Childhood Experiences Grief/Loss Post-partum Depression Coping with life changes/transitions Also experienced in: Stress, Addiction, Family/Relationship issues, Intimacy-related issues, Self-esteem, Compassion fatigue, Abandonment, Adoption, and Attachment Issues. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our sessions, we will explore what seems to trouble you most; we will examine patterns of thinking, feelings, and patterns of functioning that are affecting your daily living. You will be able to learn new practices and receive support and tips for a more satisfying and meaningful life experience. You can also expect a greater awareness that can propel you into taking the steps toward healing and wholeness that eluded you before.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I prefer to use a holistic approach to healing, utilizing an eclectic skill set of modalities and evidence-based practices. Meaning, everyone is wired differently; what may work for one individual may not work for another. I mainly focus on meeting you exactly where you are at. Some modalities and practices I may turn to are motivational interviewing, person-centered, empowerment, conversational engagement, strength-based, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and trauma-responsive treatment methods.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths are in my ability to help people feel seen and to understand themselves and how their brain works on a deeper level. The folks I have served often comment on how they feel better about themselves, their situation or experience some relief even during our first session. Another strength of mine is empowering people to reconnect with their truer Self; mainly through self-care practices cultivating self-forgiveness, self-compassion, self-acceptance, self-nurturance, and ultimately self-love. I find that we can give wholeheartedly to others only that which we can give ourselves.
