What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After meeting with me you will feel a sense of security and a positive outlook on your mental health journey. Overtime, you will have a sense of trust not only in me, but within yourself. You will gain strength mentally and physically to maintain ongoing healthy daily mental health.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I normally use medication therapy if indicated and some Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Learning new coping mechanisms and how to channel negative thoughts are vital for mental health wellness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are listening and being patient. I've had many patients tell me their providers didn't listen to them. I believe listening to the patient is the most important part of the session. Listening will aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Being patient is imperative because each patient will start to feel better in their own time with treatment. Sometimes it takes longer for individuals to respond to medication therapy than others.
