As we navigate our way through this journey of therapy, the goal is for you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships; as well as practical skills and strategies to cope with stress and manage your emotions to achieve your goals. I have a deep sense of empathy and compassion for my clients.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The start of our first session will consist of brief introductions, going over confidentiality and my office policies. Next, we will delve into the challenges and issues that you’re contending with at this time. This information will assist me with creating a treatment plan for us to work through in follow up sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

These are a few of the tools I utilize for therapy. CBT: This is a type of psychotherapy that helps clients identify and challenge negative thoughts and behaviors that affect their emotions and actions. Solution-Focused Therapy: This is a type of therapy that focuses on the client's strengths and resources, rather than their problems and deficits. Therapeutic Worksheets: A tool that I utilize to help supplement therapy sessions by providing clients with homework assignments to practice their skills to reinforce what they are learning in therapy. Guided Audio Exercises: Provides clients with instructions on how to practice breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery, or grounding techniques. This tool is used in therapy sessions or provided for clients to use at home.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Empathy: I believe empathy and compassion are needed to develop a therapeutic relationship. I work to create a therapeutic space that allows you to feel heard, understood and accepted. Growth: I have a passion for learning and growing, both personally and professionally. I value feedback and I constantly seek opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge as a therapist. I believe that therapy is a mutual learning experience, where both the therapist and the client can learn from each other. I respect your expertise on your own life, and I invite you to share your insights and perspectives with me. I challenge myself and my clients to step out of our comfort zones, to embrace change and growth as part of our journey.
