Dr. Jessy Nwuba is a dual-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 15 years of combined healthcare experience. She spent her undergraduate years at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi Nigeria where she graduated with an associate degree in nursing. She also attended Northumbria University Newcastle England for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a master’s in public health with Distinction. Dr. Nwuba obtained a Master of Science Degree with specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner, and subsequently a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from South College Tennessee and obtained her post masters Certification Psychiatric mental health nursing from Herzing University Atlanta Georgia. Dr. Nwuba has extensive experience in Mental health, Primary care, Sub/Post-Acute Care, Long Term Care, Correctional Medicine, and Family Medicine. Dr. Nwuba values her time creating a partnership with her patients through open communication. She provides evidence-based and accessible psychiatric services to manage conditions like depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and takes a holistic approach to care.
