Ethel Richard-Peterson has been an MSW, LCSW for over 30 years. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Grambling State University with a major in Social Work. Ethel received her master’s degree in social work at the University of Houston Central Campus. Ethel has worked in various agencies including hospitals (all areas), county agencies, hospices, schools. mental health agencies, dialysis centers and others. Ethel has performed responsibilities from director, supervisor, case manager, therapist and other duties as assigned. Ethel has vast work. experience and has done psychotherapy with individuals, groups, families, and couples. Ethel’s ability to serve all ages, economic and culture backgrounds make her treatment methods available to you in the areas you desire to enhance. Ethel is a broad-based therapist as she sees each person as a unique individual and can start where you are and motivate you to work toward you desired outcome and goals. The modalities most often utilized are: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Ethel works with persons with numerous diagnoses, which is inclusive of Grief/Loss, Anxiety, Depression, Adjustments Disorders, Depression, Panic attacks, Mood Disorder, Relationship Issues, and Addiction.
