Hi there, Iā€™m Lynn. Do you often feel like the stress of life is overtaking you? Are you wanting to bring back the excitement and joy you felt in your relationships, your daily activities, and work? Are you struggling with being patient and kind with yourself, or do you struggle with being able to make the best decisions for your life right now due to feeling overwhelmed with life circumstances? I help individuals manage their stress and anxiety to avoid burnout and exhaustion. We can collaborate together to identify your triggers, unhealthy thought patterns, and to determine what is effectively working and what is not. We will address the whole person in taking care of your well-being, in order to getting you back to where you want to be and feel fulfilled in life. My approaches are eclectic but I do like to work with mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you develop more awareness and coping skills. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed with life decisions, relationship issues, or unhealthy cycles and patterns, I am here to walk through these issues so that you can grow and find fulfillment again. I realize that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming and intimidating at times, but I want to encourage you that you are making the right choice. Having a safe place to process and heal will cause you to grow and overcome the obstacles that you are struggling with. In our sessions, I want to encourage you that, I will bring understanding, without judgment, and skills that have shown to be effective in overcoming the hurdles that you are struggling with. I look forward to working with you to see you grow and live a more fulfilled life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges that you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Some of my biggest strengths include my ability to self-reflect and I encouraging that in you. I will be authentic and genuine always. I have a sense of humor and have learned how to not take life super serious, this allows you the client to breathe and know that there will be a way through the situation. I realize that life is a series of seasons and when the season is hard that will pass, if you hold on long enough. I have the ability to find hope in any situation and when there is hope there is always a solution, let's just find that solution together.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to help with changing ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. CBT is designed to immediately improve your quality of life. I find that it is an effective way to treat depression and anxiety.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT goes deeper into the issue, examining the stress itself. The mindfulness techniques so common in DBT can help with the emotional imbalances so common in addiction.

Eclectic

I prefer to evaluate the scenario and determine what approaches work best for the person and the situation.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

This is a brief therapy approach that helps the member determine what method works best for them and how to navigate the best solutions for them.
