What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In the first session, you can expect to establish what you would like to accomplish in therapy, how therapy works, and begin reviewing concerns. During therapy, you can expect to talk about your feelings and the causes for certain emotions, thoughts, coping skills, and facing fears, practice new skills, work out problems, and find your strengths.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
Treatment methods utilized can include but is not limited to CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Supportive Psychotherapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Reality Therapy. Some tools utilized in therapy will be cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, active listening, exploring, and education.

I am known for being a good listener, caring, sensitive, and being open minded. My style is warm and interactive. I believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns to include sadness, anxiety, fear, lack of motivation, poor impulse control, low self esteem, parenting problems, relationship problems, communication, concerns, anger management, stress management, addiction, and those who have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.
