Hello! Welcome! I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of sex, intimacy, dating and relationship(s). I offer a sex-positive, life-affirming approach to therapy. I welcome people of every ability, race/ethnicity, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, and gender identity. I am competent and enjoy working with the queer, ENM/Poly and Kink communities. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and align with WPATH standards of care. As an AASECT certified sex and relationship therapist, I have years of specialized training and treat the following sexual concerns: performance anxiety, erection and ejaculation difficulties, low desire, sexual pain, and childhood sexual abuse. I address sexual desire discrepancy in couples and attachment injuries caused by compulsive sexual behaviors and/or infidelity/betrayal.
In our first session, I will listen carefully to understand your specific concerns. My treatment approach is highly individualized and unique to each person I work with. Together we will create treatment goals suitable to your life path that are realistic and attainable. By the end of the first session, my hope is that you feel heard, understood and hopeful about moving forward towards your goals.
My greatest strength as a therapist is that I am kind, fair, non-judgmental and I am a life long learner.

As an AASECT certified sex and relationship therapist with extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), I am passionate about guiding couples towards deeper emotional connections and renewed intimacy. My practice is rooted in a commitment to understanding and addressing the complex dynamics of intimate relationships in a safe and supportive environment. Through my training in EFT, I prioritize the cultivation of secure emotional bonds within relationships, offering a path to genuine connection and mutual understanding. This evidence based approach forms the cornerstone of my practice, empowering couples to navigate challenges and rediscover joy and fulfillment in their partnership(s).
In the words of my EMDR trainer, Barb Maiberger, EMDR is a therapy that helps people relieve their pain and suffering caused by traumatic events that have hurt them and left them in a state of distress. It is a therapy intended to help people clear past traumas in order to feel more present, satisfied, and effective in their current lives.
Psychodynamic psychology, in its broadest sense, is an approach that emphasizes the study of the psychological forces underlying human behavior, feelings, and emotions and how they might relate to early experiences.
