My name is Isis and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida with over 8 years of experience. I have worked professionally as a counselor, school counselor, and motivational therapist. I have worked with clients to navigate a wide range of challenges including anxiety, ADHD, relationship challenges, parenting and family issues, depression, and women's issues. I believe in an integrative approach to therapy. I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. I like to meet people where they're at with techniques that will be beneficial for them. My philosophy is to give people the tools they need to create positive change. I can help effectively evaluate your situation, and empower you with different strategies that will be beneficial in working through these challenges. I ensure that you feel that with me you are in a safe place to grow and explore. It takes strength to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take steps towards creating that life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will meet you right where you are and never judge you. I will evaluate your situation and give you the exact tools and strategies you need to fix issues and make the upgrades you want in your life. I will help you build healthy relationships, reduce your stress and anxiety, and learn to take care of yourself in a healthy and effective manner.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use an integrative approach when it comes to therapy. I use many techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing, amongst others. I believe that to truly be healthy, we must come at the issues from different angles. Self-care is also an important aspect of my philosophy. This will always be incorporated into our sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths have to do with my ability to meet you where you are. The client-therapist relationship is very important. In order to maximize the benefits of therapy, I feel that it is important for this relationship to be a strong one. I create a warm, calm, and non-judgmental atmosphere where you will feel comfortable and welcome. Through the lens of this relationship, we are able to explore and make real changes to your life.
