I am a licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping individuals, couples, and teens learn to cope with symptoms of depression, stress and anxiety, addictions, trauma, abuse and anger management. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I obtained my Master's degree in Community Counseling (MACC) with a minor in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University and a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Psychology from Auburn University. I hold a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Masters Addictive Certification (MAC), National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisors (CPCS) licenses and certifications.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, build rapport, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My strengths include providing empathy, understanding and compassion. I am genuine and sincere. I create a safe space and non-judgmental virtual environment for clients to feel comfortable to express themselves about the most important things in their lives. I have a passion for serving and helping others become the best selves that they can become, helping individuals and Families become a Beacon of Light for themselves and others.
I love working with clients who are tired of being sick and tired, feeling stuck in the mud. Whether that looks like being stuck in a dead-end job, stuck in a relationship, or feeling stuck in life through symptoms of depression and anxiety.
