What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will get to know each other better and then dive into specific challenges you are facing and issues you want to address. This is your time and I want to make it most meaningful to you. I will check in with you during our sessions to make sure you are getting what you need from me.

Having worked in a hospital setting for the last 7 years, I know how difficult mental health struggles can be. I will work with you to process and overcome these challenges so that you can start to live the life you deserve!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience working in outpatient therapy settings and firmly believe that when we know better, we can do better. Psycho-education plays an important role in helping clients gain insight into some of their negative thinking patterns and move forward.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

The main goal of DBT is to help you build a life worth living. This means having things that are meaningful and important to you. I work with clients thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so that they can identify values and what is most meaningful to them.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neuro-physiological sources of emotional and physical pain, and unhealthy coping mechanisms associated with PTSD. It allows the client to channel the healthy "head" knowledge they possess to transform debilitating traumatic memories and the negative beliefs they feel in relation to the incident.
