There are times in life when people will seek counseling because they feel disconnected in their relationships, are struggling with difficult situations and emotions, or long to live a life that feels meaningful, satisfying, and authentic. My approach begins with the belief that individuals are resilient and may benefit from utilizing their strengths to increase their resilience. I can assist in attaining lifestyle balance, developing healthy coping skills, recognizing your priorities and problem-solving. I believe that every client is an individual and deserves a personalized treatment plan to fit their needs. My clients struggle with anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief, counseling for adolescents and families and situational life stress. Taking the first step is never easy, but I am here to support you. Life can be overwhelming and challenging at times. It is important to me to lead with empathy and meet my clients where they are so we can work through the issues together.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Clients that are depressed, anxious, struggling with life skills, lack organization or focus and have peer relationship struggles will work to create a plan to make better life choices, be more mindful, and build happiness into their lives.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I offer an eclectic approach of modalities that will best fit the needs of the client. Therapeutic modalities used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative and Solution-focused therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.

I have extensive experience as a counselor for adolescents, teens, and young adults. In addition, I am experienced in working with adolescents on the college and career search and application process.
