Heather Morrison offers therapy covered by Husky Health and Medicaid in Connecticut.
In my practice, I combine medication management with key principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support children, teens, and college students. Along with prescribing and monitoring medication, I help clients build practical skills in four areas: mindfulness (being present), emotion regulation (managing feelings), distress tolerance (coping with tough situations), and interpersonal effectiveness (communicating and setting boundaries). This integrated approach helps young people feel more in control and confident in their daily lives.
