Life is very challenging and sometimes it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Perhaps you are stressed, feeling down, or dealing with unforeseen circumstances. I am here to help guide you to self-discovery and find the answers or solutions with support. My counseling style is laid back and eclectic. My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I consider myself to be warm, approachable, supportive, caring, empathetic, and compassionate. I look forward to helping you by providing and equipping you with the tools to help you cope with your issues and concerns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will talk about your concerns overall. We will set expectations and do some goal setting. One of the main goals is to start building a rapport between us. My goal is to make sure you are comfortable and feel welcome to express anything that you have on your mind. I know that sometimes the thought of talking to a therapist is scary and intimidating, but I hope that after we first meet, all your fears have subsided.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I provide an environment for expression of thoughts and emotions, discuss behavior patterns, and problem solve while using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Person-Centered Therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I specialize in the areas of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family issues. I also have experience providing individual, group, family and couples therapy in the areas of victimization, trauma, coping skills, forgiveness, self-esteem, conflict resolution, trauma, grief, and family reunification.
