Humor is a particular strength I have that I use often in therapy when appropriate. My goal as a provider is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to process your thoughts and feelings.
I enjoy working with clients who are interested in exploring thoughts and behaviors that are keeping them stuck or unsatisfied. It is important to me to provide affirming care for all clients, including those who identify as LGBTQ+, non-binary, gender fluid or asexual. I also enjoy working with clients who have varied relationship structures.

I enjoy utilizing a flexible approach, drawing from various therapeutic approaches for assisting clients with exploring their unique concerns. I tend to utilize concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have also received training in Narrative Therapy techniques.
I tend to utilize techniques from CBT frequently, to help clients with exploring negative thought patterns or fixed thoughts that may not be serving them. CBT can be useful in helping people develop new ways of looking at problems and developing coping strategies to enhance mental well-being.
I enjoy utilizing techniques from DBT to assist clients who are looking to improve distress tolerance, develop emotional regulation, and improve interpersonal relationships. DBT is also useful for helping individuals to develop skills in mindfulness, which can help people with enhancing balance in their lives.
