Hello, I am Tiffany. Do you struggle with those pesky racing thoughts, where it seems your brain will not shut off? Negative thoughts? Feelings of hopelessness? A feeling of not being good enough or unworthy? Do you struggle with relationships? whether it be personal or work-related. Are you unsatisfied with your job, home life, relationship, or yourself in general and want to make changes? I am a licensed clinical social worker, and I help clients work toward overcoming battles of Anxiety, Depression, and related mental health disorders by using evidence-based techniques as management skills that address your specific struggles. Help Me, Help You... That's what I like to say because this is your life, your goals! Now let's go chase after them together :)

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session the client and I will review their intake forms together. We will then discuss the clients' struggles and together create a treatment plan that best fits your goals. During this time we will also determine if we are a good fit together, as forming a positive therapeutic bond is very important in the treatment setting of therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength as a therapist is the ability to truly listen and understand where you are coming from with your struggles. I also have a degree in Criminal Justice and in my primary career, I've spent over 22 years as a police officer. I relate strongly to people who work in public service, especially first responders such as police officers, correctional officers, dispatchers, EMS workers, ER hospital workers, etc. I am here to help you. There ARE therapists out there like me, who have been in your shoes and still wear those shoes! I also consider myself down to earth. Oh, and I curse like a sailor, and it's ok if you do too! ;)
