Welcome! I'm Carrie! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has experience in the field for 8 years. I am committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards emotional well-being. I specialize in providing support to young adults dealing with trauma, managing stress, life transitions, anxiety, depression, family conflicts, self-esteem, and relationship issues. In addition, my sessions focuses on guiding you through understanding and processing challenges, enhancing self-awareness, and promoting emotional well-being.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then take time to get to know each other and better understand why you are seeking therapy in more detail. Collaboratively, we will identify your goals and explore what you want to get out of your sessions. We will spend time during the first couple of sessions building rapport as I value and believe establishing a good therapeutic relationship will help with the process and journey. We will start where you feel comfortable and I encourage you to lead the conversation and explore whatever thoughts or feelings are most pressing for them. My approach is all about meeting you where you are and helping you take those courageous steps toward the life you truly want to live.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is my deep sense of compassion. I genuinely care about the well-being of each individual I work with, and I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and valued. My compassion allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level, empathize with their struggles, and provide the encouragement and support they need to navigate life's challenges. It's not just about offering guidance or solutions, it's about walking alongside my clients with empathy and understanding as they journey toward healing and growth.
