Life is a journey, full of challenges and transitions that are sometimes difficult to navigate alone. Often these challenges create anxiety and leave us feeling stuck without knowing what direction to go. Making decisions during this time can be overwhelming while creating both fear and uncertainty. But you are not alone and have taken the first step to move forward on your journey. As your therapist, I will provide a safe, non-judgmental approach to create a comfortable, therapeutic environment. Together we will develop a treatment plan that is specific to your needs and personal goals. Cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused strategies and mindfulness are some of the interventions used in therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, I will gather information about your current situation as well as your background to understand you as a whole person. I will create a safe environment where we will work together to identify goals that meet your needs and expectations.

I offer a non-judgmental environment where you are heard and given the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings without judgement. I'm patient and flexible while understanding that change takes time and is different for each person. I also provide support and encouragement to help you succeed while making difficult life decisions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive behavioral therapy to identify maladaptive thoughts that contribute to avoidance behaviors and fears that keep us stuck, feeling even more anxious and often depressed. Together we will work to create achieveable goals and develop healthy coping skills to move forward.
