ALOHA! My name is Kiany Casillas, I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years of experience working in behavioral health. I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University and a Doctoral degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. I have been trained to treat patients across the lifespan both face to face and via telehealth visits in outpatient and inpatient settings.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First sessions always include a lot of detail on how the process will move forward. Typically new patient appointments are 1 hour long, with follow ups being around 30 minutes on average. I will ask you a ton of questions to get to know you and what you have currently been struggling with. Then together we will come up with a plan that suites you best.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a young provider my greatest strength is the ability to offer different perspectives and outlooks, utilize newer treatment modalities and techniques to help foster resilience and enhance mental wellness.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, adhd or any other mental health concern, i will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that best fits you and your needs.
