As a clinician, I firmly believe that no two humans are alike. Your strengths, your challenges, your personality are uniquely you, and as such, your therapy experience should be cultivated to honor your unique journey. It is my honor to create space for you weekly, space where you can feel safe to challenge negative thoughts, process hurts, and create new ways of seeing yourself. I work primarily in a cognitive behavior frame work, creating structure to explore and understand your thoughts and feelings. I am a Registered Art Therapist, and when appropriate and if you would like, we can integrate creativity into your treatment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, our goal is to lay out the foundation for your treatment. We spend time reviewing what brings you in to therapy, reflecting on goals, and strengths that can be utilized to support you in the therapy process. During our first session, you are free to ask questions about the therapeutic process and concerns you may have. My goal is that you leave your first session feeling hopeful for the process you are beginning, and empowered in knowing that you are the author of your experience.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is the ability to meet you where you are at. This can change weekly, and we adapt to meet your unique needs of each session.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Clients that report benefitting from my approach include, individuals experiencing life transitions, individuals exploring community and relationships in adulthood, individuals struggling with anxiety, children experiencing school issues and challenges with expressing and coping with emotions.
