Dígame, if you just want to talk about life, stress, or just have life goals you want to reach and need motivation to take the leap. Dígame if you’re looking to focus on your mental health, heal from traumas, and/or break intergenerational cycles. Dígame about your nervios/anxiety, el espanto/trauma, or cuando te pusistes mal/depression. Let’s translate wellness and mental health into our inherent rights as defined by you. I use a Person Centered, Culturally Driven approach; Decolonizing our minds, hearts, and behaviors to break cycles and barriers.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Therapy doesn’t always have to be about mental health. Sometimes it’s just about getting through life and if that’s what you need, dígame!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a decade of experience in working with single, new, and teen mothers; teen-young adult therapy; person centered therapy. I have experience with transitioning families dealing with domestic violence, parental removal, separation, divorce, as well as blended families. 10 years of experience in working with Youth CPTSD, Trauma and Justice Involvement.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe that individuals should be in charge of their own care and healing. I am just a guide to support you getting to your goals. Therefore you are in the lead and I make sure that you are honoring your goals.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I follow a culturally centered and trauma informed lens to IFS work. "The Pain We Carry: Healing From Complex PTSD For People Of Color (SOCIAL JUSTICE HANDBOOK)" by Natalie Y. Gutiérrez is a great recommendation on how BIPOC individuals can use IFS in a cultural way to address personal, professional, social, and systemic trauma.
