We all go through tough times. My job as a therapist is to support your healing and renewal when you have been stunned, wounded, or overwhelmed. In addition to using evidence-based treatments, I believe I can best support you with encouragement, by building on your strengths, and by sharing skills and perspectives. I want to get you back to feeling like the "real you," feeling at peace, connected, and inspired.
In the first session, clients can expect a collaborative and exploratory process aimed at building a therapeutic relationship. Here's what typically happens: I will introduce myself and provide an overview of the therapeutic process. We will discuss confidentiality and the limits to confidentiality to establish trust. I will invite the client to share their background, including relevant personal and relational history. Clients are encouraged to express their primary concerns and reasons for seeking therapy. We will collaboratively identify and discuss the client's goals and expectations for therapy. Setting realistic and achievable goals helps guide the therapeutic process.
All therapy should focus on cultivating positive aspects of a person and how they engage with the world and others around them so that they may start to uncover areas of growth and begin to move toward their full authentic potential. My biggest strength is my ability to help you identify the areas you need to work on to be the best version of yourself.

Utilizing CBT as a foundational approach has allowed me to effectively address thought patterns and behaviors in my Clts. By integrating cognitive restructuring and behavioral interventions, I have been able to empower individuals to develop coping mechanisms and achieve lasting behavioral changes. My grasp of the interplay between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors has enabled me to tailor treatment plans specific to each client's unique needs. Throughout my experience, I have found CBT to be highly effective in treating a diverse range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and various other behavioral issues.
In my practice, I have extensively utilized Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) as a foundational approach to therapy. With REBT, I help individuals identify and challenge irrational beliefs that contribute to emotional distress and maladaptive behaviors. By encouraging clients to recognize the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, I facilitate the development of rational thinking and adaptive coping strategies. Through a directive and collaborative therapeutic process, I assist clients in fostering resilience and emotional well-being by cultivating a rational and balanced perspective on life's challenges. My experience with REBT has shown it to be an effective and transformative tool in promoting lasting psychological growth and self-empowerment.
