My education includes a MS in clinical mental health counseling and a MS in project management. I am certified as an AD/HD specialist and also treat co-occurring symptoms, such as anxiety. I primarily work with young adults, with specific strengths in fostering executive functioning skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. My experience is in a range of settings including residential, academic, in-home, and outpatient.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we will begin by building rapport and reviewing the areas you would like to develop. This process can be organic where information gathering is not so structured or more traditional where a list of questions is used. It's whatever you prefer! What's important is that we can to know each other and how I can best meet your personalized needs.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
The methodologies I use are backed by research, proving to be effective.
