4 years of experience

My clients describe me as warm, compassionate and supportive. Our first steps will be creating a space where you feel safe. The therapy process is then guided by your needs and preferences. Together we will explore the issues that have brought you to therapy. Difficulties in life are normal. You are not alone. And you will have me by your side as we figure out what feels right for you, and what are the best ways for you to achieve your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Areas I specialize in: improved communication in existing relationships and breaking the cycle of choosing the "wrong" partner again and again. Understanding and recovering from narcissistic parents or emotional abuse/neglect. Self-esteem, anxiety, depression, separation/divorce, and women's issues including relief from PMS, and menopausal symptoms.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use an eclectic blend of methods and tools depending on the individual. This includes psychodynamic therapy which looks at how the past is impacting your future. Cognitive behavior therapy, Solution-focused brief therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique. The latter is very useful in treating anxiety, phobias and chronic pain.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Anxiety, depression, self esteem, relational issues, navigating separation/divorce. I also work with children ages 10 and under.
