Hi, I am Genevie. I have been working full time with the homeless population for a medical center. I have worked with all ages, ranging from 4 years old to 76 years old. I am specialized in trauma and have had experience working with co-occurring disorders. I strongly believe in the change that comes about from the therapeutic relationship. People need an authentic connection where they can be heard and work on their healing process in a safe/trusting environment. I operate from a client centered approach and collaborate with you on your therapy goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Expect to walk away feeling like their is plan to work towards getting you feeling “unstuck” and have a safe space to feel heard.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I operate from an integrative approach that is client centered based. You are the expert of your life and we collaborating together to get to a better place of healing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I would say my major strength is being authentic with my clients and transparent about the therapeutic process. It is not always linear and some days of unloading emotions or memories can be exhausting.
