Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida with a Master's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and over four years of clinical experience. I work with children and adults who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, self-esteem, trauma and self-destructive thoughts. My goal is to help each client build insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and become the best version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect to learn more about my therapeutic style and how I integrate approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused techniques. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and clarify what you hope to achieve through our work together. This session also includes creating a safety plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I offer a warm, supportive space where clients can start at their own pace. I build strong therapeutic relationships and use a hands-on, creative approach—especially in virtual settings. My work is grounded in evidence-based methods like CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy, focusing on clear communication, practical tools, and culturally responsive care.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to support individuals working through a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and phobias. My experience has taught me the importance of meeting each client where they are, and I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space for healing and growth. I am passionate about working with people from all walks of life and am especially committed to serving the Black community. I recognize how cultural identity and lived experiences shape mental health, and I aim to provide care that is both inclusive and culturally sensitive.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my counseling sessions, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge automatic negative thoughts that impact their emotions and behaviors. I incorporate aspects of Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients develop a clear and realistic vision of their goals and what they are striving toward. Homework is often assigned to reinforce skills learned in session and to encourage progress between meetings, promoting lasting change through consistent practice.

Psychoeducation

I take time to discuss the purpose behind each intervention, so clients understand how it supports their progress. Whether we’re exploring a diagnosis or learning a new coping skill, I ensure clients feel informed and supported, often using visuals, handouts, or real-life examples to make the information relatable and easy to apply.

Strength-Based

I have experience using strength-based treatment methods to help clients recognize and build on their existing abilities, resilience, and positive qualities. In my sessions, I focus on what is going well and use those strengths as a foundation for addressing challenges. By highlighting past successes, personal values, and inner resources, I support clients in developing confidence and motivation to reach their goals. This approach fosters empowerment and reinforces a more hopeful and constructive outlook throughout the therapeutic process.
