Hi! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters Degree from Pepperdine University and have been in private practice for 10 years. I have extensive experience in working with individuals, couples and families in assisting them with their current struggles, helping them improve the quality of their life and ultimately helping them become the best version of themselves.
In our first session I will be asking questions to get to know my client's background, family history, upbringing, relationship history and current symptoms. I am interested in understanding what my client hopes to accomplish when coming to therapy and how they will know that change has happened.
I am very passionate about the work that I do and it's very important for me that my client feels comfortable in his or her sessions. Having worked in this field for over 10 years, I am able to provide guidance and teach skills that will help individuals feel better. I do challenge my client's thought patterns and help them look at things from a different perspective without judgment.
I love working with individuals who are motivated to make changes to move forward in their life. I believe that each individual has a story to tell and needs to be heard and I am passionate about creating a safe space for them to share their story and learn skills to overcome whatever it is that they are struggling with.
