Hi, I'm Ms. Noemi and I am a bilingual (English & Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from Southern California. I've been in practice since 2003. At this time, I have a small private practice, and I am currently serving children as young as 4 and their families. I specialize in Early Intervention, Children, and Family therapy. I also provide short-term solution-focused individual counseling to adults dealing with life changes, transitions, and boundary challenges. Hablo EspaƱol. Background: I graduated from Cal State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services in 2003. In 2005, I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC). Then in 2017, I earned my PPSC with an emphasis on Child Welfare and Attendance from Cal State Long Beach (CSULB). My clinical experience was in county mental health. I specialized in the treatment of children between the ages of 3-18. I provided individual, group, and parenting services to high-risk youth. I used a combination of talk therapy and evidence-based treatment models to best address their mental health issues, all while collaborating with adjunct programs. I also provided Mental Health Related Services (MHRS) to students receiving counseling as part of their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). I also have 10 yrs experience working for a foster adoption agency. I contributed to promoting safety, family reunification, adoption, and supportive parenting. My love and passion is to help children and their families with strengthening their relationships, healing, and reaching their mental health goals. Life is hard, challenging, and sometimes just overwhelming. I would love to be a tool that you can use to help you throughout your mental health journey. NOTE: My openings are Thursdays & Fridays 10:30am-3 pm. No weekend or after school hours. Scheduling Inquiries: +1 (786) 755-1863 or by emailing reception+Noemi12616@growtherapy.com

I work well with children and adolescents (4-18 yrs) that may be dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, behavioral disorders, special education, IEPs, 504 plans, and age-appropriate social skills.
