(she/her)
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC, LPC) and board certified art therapist (ATR-BC) who has provided compassionate psychotherapy services to youth, teens, and adults since 2004 to address anxiety, depression, interpersonal communication health, grief, loss and bereavement, life transitions, dementia and more. I provide compassionate, collaborative virtual therapy services for teens and adults and will integrate creative arts based activities when desired for to assist with insight, self-care and healing.
In our first session, we will explore the reasons you're seeking treatment at this time. What is causing distress? We will also identify your strengths and times when things were better so we can develop a plan of care (goals) that builds upon your previous and current areas of success, are aligned with your values and ideas concerning your future development and growth, and utilize evidence-based interventions to facilitate the desired changes you want to see. Many clients experience a sense of validation and a sense of relief after their first session.
I am genuine and sincere. My clients feel seen, heard, and honored. When approaching their personal goals, I use a collaborative approach to ensure client's needs and goals are centered.

Strength-Based
I am a client centered therapist who applies theories that best fit your circumstances and needs. Attachment and Schema theories (patterns of how we view ourselves and others, the influence of trust and safety in relationships), Cognitive-Behavioral Theories (how our patterns of thought influence patterns of feeling and behavior), and Strengths Based perspectives (how can we leverage and lean on our strengths to manage the difficulties) guide my work with clients.
