What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, we will explore the reasons you're seeking treatment at this time. What is causing distress? We will also identify your strengths and times when things were better so we can develop a plan of care (goals) that builds upon your previous and current areas of success, are aligned with your values and ideas concerning your future development and growth, and utilize evidence based interventions to facilitate the desired changes. Many clients experience a sense of validation and a sense of relief after their first session.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use evidenced based interventions including CBT, REBT, Narrative and Strengths-based, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approaches , incorporating art therapy and bibliotherapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I am genuine and sincere. My clients feel seen, heard, and honored. When approaching their personal goals, I use a collaborative approach to ensure client's needs and goals are centered.
