My main goal is for you to feel empowered during our time together! You are in the driver's seat of this healing journey, I am helping you navigate how to get there. Know that is it my top priority to make you feel safe, seen and heard. Building trust and comfort is essential for lasting therapy. Providing you with various tools and activities for you to practice on your own time will also be something that you can expect from our sessions! Consistency helps build a strong mind!
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
CBT and person-centered counseling are my top modalities. I will provide you with tools on how to reframe an unhealthy thought feeling and behavior into a healthy one. Mindfulness and various grounding techniques will also be used in our sessions! Breathwork can be extremely helpful when learning how to de-clutter thoughts.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have previous experience as a school counselor. Working in both the middle and high school levels. I believe one of my greatest strengths is the ability to genuinely connect with people. I provide a warm and calming energy that is very useful during sessions!
