I’m Jodi Walsh, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and ASRM-certified Reproductive Mental Health Practitioner with over 12 years of experience. I help women navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and reproductive mental health concerns such as infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum struggles. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and focused on empowering you to heal, grow and pivot if needed.
In the first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we’ll focus on understanding their current concerns, personal history, and goals for therapy. We’ll collaboratively explore what brings them to therapy and begin identifying areas they want to work on. This initial conversation helps set the foundation for our work together and ensures we create a plan that feels supportive and aligned with their needs.
My greatest strengths as a provider include my ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I’m skilled at using evidence-based techniques to guide clients in challenging unhelpful thoughts and making meaningful shifts in their lives. Additionally, I bring a balance of compassion and directness, empowering clients to grow with both support and honest reflection.
I’m especially passionate about working with women who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, burnout, or the pressure of managing it all. I support women of color as they navigate major life transitions, relationship challenges, or the emotional ups and downs of infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. If you’re seeking clarity, peace, and purpose—this space is for you.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, replacing them with more balanced and constructive ways of thinking. By connecting thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, clients can develop practical coping strategies and work toward meaningful change.
I use Solution-Focused Therapy in my practice to help clients focus on their strengths and envision their preferred future. By identifying and building on what is already working, we co-create practical steps toward achieving their goals and fostering a sense of hope and empowerment.
I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in my practice to help clients develop skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach supports clients in managing intense emotions and creating balance in their thoughts and behaviors, promoting healthier relationships and overall well-being.
