Hello! Are you facing difficulties in managing your moods, feeling overwhelmed, experiencing burnout, or contemplating your behavior? Now might be the time to trust the guidance of a trained professional who can assist you in managing the stressors that are weighing on you! I am ready and willing to provide the help you deserve, in an empathetic and non-judgmental environment. I have experience working with all age groups, addressing anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief, trauma, anger, and self-harming behavior. Together, we will create realistic goals that will jump-start your treatment in an environment where I encourage you to be yourself. Your journey to better wellness starts here!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will discuss what brought you to therapy. On day one we will start working together and getting to know each other! Our focus throughout the sessions will be to address any barriers you may be experiencing, process any concerns you have regarding your mental well-being, and learn tools to cope with those issues.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My treatment method is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This treatment modality has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness. This type of therapy focuses on changing the thinking patterns of an individual, which in turn, will change the behaviors to bring about positive consequences. Continuous practice doing this yields great results!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients describe me as a truly relatable person, who is non-judgmental and here to help! I work as a supervisor in an outpatient mental health clinic, as well as in hospitals assisting individuals who come seeking help because they are in crisis, so my expertise in the field of therapy is vast. I pride myself in helping my clients navigate through their problems/concerns, in an empathetic, compassionate way. Most of the individuals I serve are diagnosed with co-occurring disorders, meaning a mental health disorder (i.e., Major Depressive Disorder) and a substance abuse disorder. I enjoy being a supportive intervention in the lives of others.
