Hi! I’m Amber, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their mental health journey. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. I believe effective treatment begins with truly understanding you as a person—not simply focusing on a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I take time to learn about your experiences, concerns, lifestyle, and goals so we can develop a treatment plan that feels realistic and personalized to you. My approach is collaborative and transparent. I want you to understand your treatment options, feel comfortable asking questions, and have an active voice in decisions about your care. When medication is part of your treatment, we’ll discuss the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives and continue to evaluate what is and isn’t working for you. My practice is a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free space where you can be yourself and have honest conversations about your mental health. Whether you’re seeking psychiatric care for the first time, returning to treatment, or looking for a provider who takes the time to listen, I’ll meet you where you are. Together, we’ll work toward improving your well-being, building resilience and confidence, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Your first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and understand what brings you to care. We’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, including your current symptoms, mental health and medical history, previous treatments, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals. We’ll also discuss any questions or concerns you have about medication. If medication is appropriate, I’ll explain your options, including potential benefits, side effects, and alternatives, so we can make an informed decision together. If you’re already taking medication, we’ll review how well it’s working and identify any areas that may need adjustment. My practice focuses on psychiatric medication management rather than ongoing talk therapy. By the end of our first visit, my goal is for you to have a better understanding of your symptoms, treatment options, and next steps, along with a clear, personalized plan for moving forward.
Services I offer include diagnostic assessment, medication management and psychotherapy. Diagnostic assessment helps identify the cause of your troubles. Medication management to address those issues if appropriate and therapy to help you work through the troubles. Medication can often provide significant alleviation of symptoms, allowing people to move beyond their symptoms and live their lives more fully. Psychotherapy aims to enable patients, or clients, to recognize both positive and negative feelings, and what triggers or situations can make them feel good, nervous, or depressed. This allows them to cope with difficulties in a more constructive way.
I bring compassion, active listening, honesty, and a judgment-free approach to every session. I take the time to understand the whole person—not just a diagnosis or list of symptoms. I’m approachable and collaborative, and I value open communication so you feel comfortable asking questions and being an active participant in your care. I also bring clinical experience, attention to detail, and a practical approach to developing treatment plans that fit your individual needs, goals, and lifestyle.
My ideal client is an adolescent or adult seeking psychiatric evaluation and medication management for concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, or other mental health challenges. You may be starting medication for the first time, returning to treatment, or looking for a provider who will take the time to carefully evaluate and optimize your current medication regimen. My practice is focused primarily on medication management rather than ongoing talk therapy. During our visits, we’ll discuss your symptoms, functioning, treatment response, medication concerns, and goals so that we can make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions about your care. I also provide education and supportive interventions to help you better understand your symptoms and treatment options. I enjoy working with clients who want to be active participants in their treatment and feel comfortable asking questions and discussing what is or isn’t working. My goal is to help you find a treatment approach that is effective, manageable, and tailored to your individual needs while supporting your overall mental wellness.

I was referred to Dr. Dale from my primary care provider. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect because again I was referred but up on meeting Dr. Dale over the phone. I heard kindness. I heard concern. I heard empathy in her voice when I did my therapy session she was very attentive she listened to me and gave me solutions.
