I am a licensed clinical social worker with my masters from Columbia university and Masters in Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary. I have 12+ experience in providing therapy for clients in all stages of life from childhood to older adults. I believing in a holistic approach and often collaborate with medical professionals and incorporate people’s spirituality. The past few years I have been providing services for patients from women’s health clinic and older adult clinic with wider range of mental health issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with a brief introduction, review medical and mental health history, and discuss how your goals and treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths are providing a space for my clients where they do not feel judged and at peace, being direct but in a kind and compassionate way, providing different perspectives to a situation, and providing different exercises and assignments which help foster faster results and also help the patients to feel like their are in control.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been trained in CBT from the start of my career. CBT is one way to help approach anxiety/depression in a logical and concrete way. I am also trained in cbt- insomnia.

Prolonged Exposure Therapy

I have been trained in primary care prolonged exposure therapy for trauma patients.

Christian Counseling

I have obtained my Masters in Divinity. If my patients would like to incorporate their faith in their sessions and approach their sessions in a gospel-centered way I am able to do so. I believe human beings need to be approached in a holistic manner and that also includes their spirituality.

Couples Counseling

I live working with couples and helping couples reach their goals together.

EMDR

EMDR is a great way of processing trauma and other symptoms for those that do not enjoy talk therapy.
