Greetings, My name is Louise and I hope this message finds you well. I am married, the mother of one grown child, and the grandmother of one. I want to introduce myself as someone who is passionate about helping others overcome life's challenges. If you've experienced childhood trauma, the loss of a loved one, or are struggling with work/life balance, I would be honored to collaborate with you. Using evidenced-based tools, we can explore your biopsychosocial and spiritual world to find your resources and areas to strengthen. My goal is to help you feel more at peace and understand why you react to certain situations the way you do. During our time together, I will provide a safe, empathetic, and objective environment for you to explore these areas of your life. With a background in teaching, biochemistry, and mental health treatment, as well as personal life experiences, I am here to help you discuss areas that are stressing you and utilize tools that will grow your toolbox. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you. Take care!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After your first session, you will have a tool or tools to try out for the week to see if you notice any positive changes. As the weeks go by, you will find what methods and tools work best to incorporate into your life. We will collaborate on the changes you made and may use scales to determine how you are progressing in the areas you have chosen to work on. As you feel more confident in utilizing your new skills, sessions will decrease as deemed appropriate.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Each individual will have their own unique set of treatment methods and tools to provide the best outcome. These could include attachment theory, grief/loss exploration, ACEs and resilience questionnaires, ACT, CBT, solution-focused therapy, poly vagal theory, automatic negative thoughts exercises, as well as others depending on the individual.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My niche is working with women's issues across the lifespan, which includes childhood trauma and abuse, attachment challenges, loss of a parent, divorce, high-risk pregnancies, miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, family dynamics, anxiety, and depression. My biggest strengths are the compassion and empathy that I bring to the sessions. Through my life and educational experiences, I have learned a lot to be able to assist clients and their challenges. I have a certification in grief counseling, am polyvagal theory-informed, and have helped individuals feel safe in working through traumas. Exploring your childhood attachment style, as well as generational cycles can lead to "aha" moments in sessions.
