Hi and welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who practices in California. I bring over 30 years of experience, empathy and compassion to my practice. My aim is to help you achieve your goals and I believe in meeting the client where he/she is. I am passionate about what I do and I honor the courage it takes to seek therapy. I look forward to working with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us together create a tailored made plan for us to work through in the follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in multiple settings with a large variety of clients, I've developed tried-and-true strategies for helping you identify the root causes of your challenges and create a tailored plan that will lead to progress.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I am a strength-based, client-centered, solution-focused therapist. I believe in creating a judgement free environment so you can feel supported and safe, and together we can achieve your stated goals. I bring my 30 years experience to utilize various treatment methods that best fit the client, (as opposed to the client fitting the method). I use Solution Focused, as well as Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic approaches. My approach is to use evidence based treatment, yet meeting my clients where they're at. I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression and self-esteem issues, interpersonal/couples problems. I have years of experience also working with various addiction and eating disorders. My goal for my clients is to provide them with the coping tools so they can navigate life's multiple challenges, and become the best they can be. I look forward to begin that journey with you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has helped clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their mood disorders. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Psychodynamic

The goal of psychodynamic therapy is the client growth in self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behavior. Together we explore the connection between a client's past experiences – often from childhood – and their current mindset.
