Hello, my name is Chelsea Kingman. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 14 years of experience. My primary focus is grief and loss and major life transitions in men and women in all stages of life. Areas of expertise include infertility, relationship discord, recovery from infidelity and divorce, adjusting to being a new parent, caring for aging parents or a loved one, and loss of a family member.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session together is a chance for us to get to know each other, for you to share what inspired you to start therapy, and for us to begin creating a plan to help you reach your goals toward health and well-being.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
The best therapy happens when there is a good relationship between the therapist and client. I believe this is one of my greatest strengths.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My other areas of focus are depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma. I help people and couples understand the origins and triggers of their challenges and assist them in building relationship connection, including emotional and physical intimacy and a healthy, balanced and meaningful life. When families are struggling it may be hard to tolerate difficult emotions. My goal is to listen, help establish boundaries, trust and communication and to provide education and therapeutic techniques to help you heal and thrive.
