Hello, nice to meet you! Overwhelmed, stressed, or just burnt out with feelings that have become hard to manage? Are you always saying yes, struggling to manage time, and have feelings of guilt when putting yourself first? Lack of boundaries in relationships can caue overwhelm, stress, and just burnout that becomes hard to manage. Im here to help. My name is Samantha and I'm an LPC and LADC, and I graduated with a master's degree in clinical mental health. I started my career working with people who struggled with dual diagnosis- mental health and substance abuse challenges. In my session's I like to bring my human-ness and light humor into session for an easy transition into some of the more challenging topics. In my work, I help people gain an understanding of how they navigate through the world and focus on challenging symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders that arise. My philosophy is to approach each person as the "expert" of themselves while providing guidance, support and informed psychotherapeutic interventions to help them navigate their way to better mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together I will ask questions to gather a brief understanding of your experiences and challenges. This is a time for you to see if my approach works for you and if you're interested in continuing with me to create a safe space and work through and towards goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, and complex traumas are my strengths. Feelings of shame, racing thoughts, worry, lack of motivation, and emotional reactivity in interpersonal relationships are some of my strengths.
