I'm here to help you in your journey as you navigate the issues in your life, and I'll also celebrate your wins with you! I provide brain-based, mind-body, and solution-focused interventions to help clients overcome their challenges. I believe that you are stronger than you know, and I'll offer you support to help you realize that strength. If you are experiencing anxiety, life transitions, grief, or women's issues, my practice may be a good fit for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will get to know each other. I will ask questions to help me understand your challenges and I welcome you to bring any questions you have as well. Therapy should feel comfortable and safe, so feel free to bring a warm cup of tea or your favorite comfort blanket to your session if you need to.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a client, you can expect a warm, client-centered environment and I will meet you where you are in the process. I also continuously engage in education and read the latest research to provide the best treatment approaches for my clients.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a power therapy developed around the client's line of vision. It is a brain-body modality that can help you experience deep healing. During a session of Brainspotting, I work with clients to find an eye position that corresponds to specific emotional challenges held in the subcortical brain. I then support the client through deep processing while encouraging them to pay attention to the physical sensations in their body.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT as a foundation for therapy. I often work with clients to identify maladaptive thoughts that lead to unhealthy feelings and behaviors. I then provide tools to help clients challenge those thoughts.

Faith based therapy

For some clients, their faith is a major factor in helping them cope. I encourage clients to bring this into sessions if they choose to do so.

Mind-body approach

I work with clients to notice how their body reacts to the challenges they are facing. We then practice mind-body exercises to help calm and regulate the nervous system so they can think more clearly.

Strength-Based

In therapy, I help clients identify their inner resourcefulness and strengths. I believe that you are stronger than you know.
