My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help people improve their mood by challenging negative thinking and changing their behavior. CBT is helpful with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, sleep issues, and other various issues.

Narrative

I use Narrative therapy to assist people with owning the power of creating and re-creating their own stories of their lives. This approach is proven to be helpful with trauma, grief, attachment, and mood disorders.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Everyone is unique and should be treated as so. Culturally Sensitive Therapy help people feel comfortable and understood by considering cultural background, values, and beliefs to create mutual respect and trust.

Interpersonal

Utilizing Interpersonal Therapy helps individuals focus on improving communication and interpersonal effectiveness skills. It can help people identify and address problems in their relationships with family, partners, and friends.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate Mindfulness into therapy to hep others learn to cultivate present-moment awareness. Mindfulness-based treatments have been shown to reduce anxiety, stress, and depression.

This was just my first appointment (more of an intake) but honestly, it felt right. The space felt warm and welcoming, and she truly listened. I was comfortable the entire time, like I was chatting with a friend I’ve known for years. I’m definitely looking forward to future sessions!

It went really well. I was a bit nervous beforehand, but once the session started, I felt more at ease than I expected. The environment felt safe and supportive, and I appreciated how the therapist listened without judgment.
