Hello! I’m so happy you’re here! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana in 2020. I have 6 years of experience working in several levels of care including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. I mostly work with teenagers and young adults, and my main areas of expertise are eating disorders, substance abuse, and anxiety.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with introductions and then start exploring some of your challenges and any goals you have for your therapy. Having this information will allow me to create an individualized plan for us to use throughout future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths as a therapist include being empathetic, easy-going, and working collaboratively with my clients. I have provided therapy at the residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care with people of all ages. Having these experiences has allowed me to gain unique insight to various components of the development and recovery processes of several mental health challenges.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love helping teenagers and young adults that have challenges with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, OCD, and life transitions. I strive to work together as a team, while helping my clients become the best versions of themselves. My clients are ready to make positive changes in their lives, but oftentimes need help with finding the tools necessary to meet their goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT for the last 6 years while working with my clients. It has been helpful for my clients having challenges with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. While using CBT, we will work together to help identify the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We'll then use that information to help work towards positive behavioral changes to help you become your best self.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have been using DBT for the last 4 years. It has been helpful for several of my clients with eating disorders. Throughout our work with DBT, we will work on building and strengthening several skills including mindfulness, interpersonal relationship skills, and emotion regulation.
