What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will have brief introductions and move into getting to know you and your story. Together, we will identify your biggest challenges and create a plan to address them so that you can be the person you want to be.

My greatest strength is being able to connect with my clients in a way that allows them to feel seen and heard. I want our time to feel like a natural conversation where we are working together to help you problem-solve through challenges you are facing. I hope that as we work together you will feel empowered to make decisions that will help you improve your mental health and feel that you are making effective therapeutic changes in your life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our work together will have a CBT focus so that you are better able to understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. As we continue on your mental health journey, I will pull from other methods as I get to know you and to be able to meet your needs as best as I can.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

With EFT, we will take the time to build your emotional awareness, understand the impact feelings have on your decisions and self-identity, and learn to cope with strong emotions.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In our work together, we will pull from DBT therapy modalities to help improve your emotional regulation and distress tolerance.

Trauma Informed Care

My background is in trauma and using trauma-informed care means that I want to take time to learn about you and your experiences so that we can work together on your goals in the best way possible.
