I am passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, loss/grief and life transitions. Life can certainly be challenging. We tend to use past coping skills and many times, these skills no longer serve their purpose. I am here to assist you with identifying healthy coping skills when you are faced with difficult situations. You might think you don't have time for therapy, or that you should be able to handle this on your own, but if you're overwhelmed and not coping well, you deserve the time to take this step. Let's work together towards a life of balance and reflection, where you feel empowered and at ease.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will welcome you to therapy and give you reassurance that I will create a safe space for you to share your reasons for coming to therapy. We will discuss the informed consents and confidentiality. I will invite you to ask any questions or address concerns you may have. I want you to feel comfortable to share your expectations and goals you wish to achieve. We will begin to build an alliance and you can determine if we are a good fit. This is your session and I am here to help.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am compassionate, authentic, and kind. I am non-judgmental and put my clients at ease. I truly want my clients to have the best lives they achieve.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

Life can certainly be challenging. I provide a space for you to understand and process your emotions, find validation, and rediscover your strengths. Let's work together towards a life of balance and reflection, where you feel empowered and at ease.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Where are you now and where would you like to be? What would be different in your life if your "problem" was solved. Together, in a limited number of sessions, we will identify your strengths and come up with some achievable goals. We will celebrate small changes and identify any hurdles that may interfere with maintaining the changes you have made.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Checking in with yourself is so important. Often times, we are just going through the motions and rarely acknowledging and accepting our thoughts, feelings and internal state. With increased acceptance, and compassion, you will be empowered to navigate life's ups and downs and regulate your emotions.
