I’m a licensed mental health professional dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and resilience. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and work toward meaningful change. Using evidence-based approaches like CBT, REBT, and psychodynamic therapy, I tailor each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individuals I work with.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive environment where we begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and discussing how our work can be tailored to meet your needs, all at a pace that feels comfortable and collaborative.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. I bring warmth, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of how to integrate insight-oriented and evidence-based approaches to support meaningful change. My clients often share that they appreciate my balance of empathy and structure, as well as my ability to guide them through both emotional healing and practical growth.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I’m best positioned to support adults, who are navigating the challenges of identity, relationships, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. As a Hispanic/Latinx clinician, I bring a culturally informed lens to therapy and deeply value creating a space where clients from diverse backgrounds feel seen, understood, and empowered. I especially connect with individuals who are ready to explore both emotional insight and practical tools for meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I regularly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand and change unhelpful thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. By working collaboratively, I guide clients in identifying cognitive distortions, developing healthier coping strategies, and setting practical, goal-oriented plans for change. CBT is a flexible, evidence-based approach that I tailor to meet each client’s unique needs and challenges.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

I incorporate Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help clients recognize how irrational beliefs can lead to emotional and behavioral challenges. Through a structured, collaborative process, I support clients in disputing these beliefs and replacing them with more rational, empowering alternatives. REBT is a proactive, solution-focused approach that promotes lasting emotional resilience and personal growth.

Compassion Focused

I integrate Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) to help clients develop self-compassion and reduce harsh self-criticism, which often underlies anxiety, depression, and shame. CFT draws from evolutionary psychology, attachment theory, and mindfulness to cultivate a balanced, compassionate inner voice. This approach empowers clients to respond to themselves with kindness and strength, fostering emotional healing and psychological well-being.

Psychoanalytic

I draw from psychoanalytic therapy to explore how early relationships and unconscious patterns influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through reflective dialogue and insight-oriented work, clients gain deeper self-understanding and uncover the roots of persistent emotional struggles. This approach fosters lasting change by bringing hidden dynamics into awareness and creating space for healthier relational patterns.

Psychoeducation

I incorporate psychoeducation to help clients better understand their mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. By providing clear, evidence-based information, I empower clients to make informed decisions and actively participate in their healing process. This approach enhances self-awareness, reduces stigma, and supports lasting therapeutic progress.
