I know that starting therapy can be challenging but I am here to help! I am a licensed counselor (LPC) and registered art therapist (ATR-BC), who is passionate about tailoring therapy to each client individually. I specialize in counseling for medical conditions (see below for more information), grief, trauma, anxiety and depression management. I have experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses and believe strongly in pulling from multiple different disciplines to find the best treatment possible. I teach my clients about self compassion, finding your values, mindfulness, coping skills, identity, and more. Let’s work together to help you find the best version of yourself! *While I am an art therapist, it is not a requirement for therapy with me! I am patient-focused and will follow what you feel comfortable with*
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Clients can expect a dedicated and passionate clinician who strives to find the best possible help for her clients. I pride myself on being professional, kind, honest and open. I view therapy as a collaborative process where we can explore what works best for you!
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I am a registered Art Therapist and use art making as a non judgmental way to explore complex concepts, thoughts and experiences. No prior art experience is necessary. We will be focusing on the process, not the product. Please ask me any questions if you are interested! Art therapy is not a requirement for my clients.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have worked for the past few years in a physical and cognitive rehab. I have extensive experience and passion for working with individuals who have suffered from a brain injury, spinal cord injury, heart attack, stroke, cancer diagnosis and many more. I specialize in finding ways to allow for art making to be accessible for everyone.
